Our review of ANMEATE’s baby monitor is still in progress. We’ve used it every day at home for about two months now and will have a full proper review in the near future. But we already like what we see for this budget baby monitor.
It is, without a doubt, the best baby monitor under $100 on the market today. For just $57.99 on Amazon , ANMEATE’s baby monitor comes with a lot of features that we would expect from other more expensive monitors.
The ANMEATE is a radio monitor. That means that the video and audio of your baby will be streamed directly to a portable parent unit, without using your WiFi network. Take a look at our baby monitor buying guide to see if that’s the best solution for your family. The picture is decent and the range of the signal is sufficient for a small to medium-size home. The Infant Optics DXR-8 performs better, but it’s also more expensive at $165.98 on Amazon .
Our Rating: 8.9 / 10
Our Hands-on Review of the ANMEATE Baby Monitor
This is a preliminary review. We will continue using the ANMEATE at home for another few months before fully wrapping our review. That said, the ANMEATE has been a reliable baby monitor so far.
For a budget monitor, it comes with a lot of useful features. The screen on the parent unit is relatively small, this is probably why the monitor cheaper than its competitors, but it’s sufficient to know what’s going on in my baby’s bedroom.
The camera has a 2x zoom option, night vision, and temperature monitoring. It also has a two-way talk function, so you can speak to your baby using the parent unit.
The ANMEATE doesn’t have as many options and features as others in our top 10 best baby monitors of the year, but not everyone needs all the extra bells and whistles.
Model reviewed: ANMEATE Baby Monitor
Our rating: 8.9 / 10
Summary: The ANMEATE Baby Monitor is the best video monitor under $100 that we’ve reviewed. It comes with a lot of valuable features and delivers simple yet useful functionalities.
